Google reCaptcha V3

Google reCAPTCHA is a free service that protects your website from spam and abuse. It uses advanced risk analysis techniques to tell humans and bots apart. With reCAPTCHA v3, you can block spam and abuse on your website without requiring users to solve a CAPTCHA.

In this tutorial, we will show you how to implement Google reCAPTCHA v3 in WordPress comments.

  1. Go to the Google reCAPTCHA website and click on the “Admin Console” button.
  2. If you are not already signed in to your Google account, you will be prompted to sign in.
  3. Once you are signed in, you will be taken to the reCAPTCHA v3 dashboard. Click on the “Add a new site” button.
  4. Enter your website’s domain name in the “Label” field and select “reCAPTCHA v3” from the “reCAPTCHA type” dropdown menu.
  5. Click on the “Add” button to create a new site.
  6. You will be given a site key and a secret key. These keys will be used to authenticate your website with the reCAPTCHA service.
  7. Install and activate the Advanced noCaptcha & invisible Captcha plugin on your WordPress website.
  8. Go to the “Settings Advanced noCaptcha & invisible Captcha” page in your WordPress admin dashboard and enter your site key and secret key in the appropriate fields.
  9. Scroll down to the “reCAPTCHA in Comments” section and select “v3” from the “reCAPTCHA version” dropdown menu.
  10. Enter the score threshold that you want to use in the “Score Threshold” field. This is the minimum score that a user must achieve in order to post a comment on your website.
  11. Click on the “Save Changes” button to save your settings.
  12. Your WordPress comments should now be protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3. When a user submits a comment, the reCAPTCHA service will check their score and determine whether or not the comment should be allowed.

That’s it! You have successfully implemented Google reCAPTCHA v3 in your WordPress comments. You can now sit back and relax, knowing that your website is protected from spam and abuse.
